Excel security risk macros unblocked
As of last June 2022, Microsoft is blocking the use of macros in Excel. Macros can be misused for malware and ransomware.
In this way, Microsoft wants to fight cybercrime and reduce the risks of these attacks.
Due to this decision, after a new download and opening the VBA Excel file, a red security risk warning bar will appear at the top of your Excel screen.
Solution to unblock macros in Excel

- View the Excel file in Windows Explorer
- Right-click the file
- Click on Properties of the file
- Place a checkmark in the button LOCK UNLOCKING
